Position Summary: Program Manager supporting Translational Medicine Leaders (Immunology, Cardiovascular, Neurology) to execute translational development plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Translational Medicine Lead to design/execute program timelines and translational biomarker strategies; oversee data delivery, contracting, data transfers, regulatory submissions, and internal/external collaborations.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities (assay development, outsourcing, vendor management, biospecimens, data management, biostatistics, operations) to align with priorities.
- Manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships; conduct meetings, set agendas, take minutes, and track action items.
- Proactively manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies; escalate significant issues as needed.
- Maintain a book of work with transparency/visibility using tools (e.g., Smartsheet, PowerPoint, Office Timeline).
- Oversee end-to-end budgeted contracts and coordinate with vendor/finance/global procurement to drive execution through purchase orders.
- Support biomarker study reports and documentation; coordinate vendor document reviews and storage.
- Facilitate publication planning and data delivery for presentations/publications/conferences.
- Support program transitions and continuous improvement of processes/tools.
Qualifications:
- B.S./M.S. in a scientific discipline; PMP or equivalent experience desirable.
- 5+ years pharmaceutical/related industry experience in matrixed environments.
- Strong communication and urgency; manage multiple projects and build structure from ambiguity.
- Experience leading complex virtual projects; constructive conflict management; vendor management experience.
- Experience with tools (Smartsheet, SharePoint, Office Timeline); negotiation/scenario planning.
