Role: Scientific Associate Director in Translational PK/PD at PDMB, focusing on biologics, protein therapeutics, and peptides. Objectives: independently design and execute PK/PD, PBPK, and QSP models to guide drug discovery, modality selection, and dose prediction; support translational efforts for novel and established targets. Responsibilities: serve as modeling expert in cross-functional teams, integrate in vitro/in vivo data for mechanistic modeling, collaborate to design experimental and modeling strategies, develop automated workflows for human PK/PD prediction, and mentor junior staff. Qualifications: Master's (8+ years), PharmD (6+ years), or Ph.D. (4+ years) in relevant disciplines; hands-on experience with PK/PD modeling software (e.g., Matlab, R, Monolix); expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and statistics. Preferred: interdisciplinary team experience, development of novel modeling strategies, or automated workflows utilizing PBPK, QSP. HighValue: biologics, peptides, protein therapeutics, translational modeling, systems pharmacology, drug discovery stage. Location: South San Francisco, CA; West Point, PA; or Boston, MA, with a hybrid work setup. Travel: approx. 10%.
