Associate Director, Translational PK/PD

Role: Associate Director in Translational PK/PD at Merck, specializing in biologics, protein therapeutics, and peptides, to guide drug discovery with model-informed decision-making. Responsibilities: serve as expert PK/PD modeler for cross-functional teams, designing and executing mechanistic models (PK/PD, PBPK, QSP); integrate data to support target validation, dose prediction, and translational strategies; collaborate on experimental and modeling plans; develop automated workflows; mentor junior colleagues; and build cross-departmental partnerships. Requirements: Master's (8+ years), PharmD (6+ years), or Ph.D. (4+ years) in relevant disciplines; hands-on experience with translational modeling software (Matlab, OSP Suite, Monolix, R); expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and statistics for biologics, peptides, or protein therapeutics. Preferred: interdisciplinary collaboration, innovative modeling strategies, mechanistic workflows.
