- Act as the M&S representative on several programs; develop and execute modeling strategies and guide model-informed decisions from therapeutic design to first-in-human dose selection and beyond.
- Build and apply mechanistic models (PK/PD, QSP, and PBPK/PD) linking drug pharmacology, tissue biodistribution, mechanisms of action, and downstream effects.
- Integrate modeling into the design and interpretation of preclinical in vivo and in vitro studies to support candidate selection, optimization, and advancement to the clinic.
- Collaboratively develop platform disease (QSP) and PBPK/PD models across multiple projects and phases.
- Engage in M&S strategic initiatives, including platform-level translational modeling strategies and developing new modeling workflows (e.g., agentic AI).
- Increase adoption of translational modeling internally and expand impact through external collaborations.
- At the Associate Director level: provide additional mentorship and strategic responsibilities within M&S.

Essential requirements:
- Ph.D. in biology, bioengineering, pharmaceutical sciences, biophysics, or related field; 7+ years industry experience with increasing responsibility.
- Expert modeling skills: scripting (MATLAB, R), ODE model construction, parameter estimation, data visualization.
- Expert industry skills: PK/PD, QSP, and/or mechanistic PBPK/PD; proficiency in pharmacometrics (Population PK, exposure-response) preferred.
- Prior integration of computational modeling with biological concepts; experience in neuroscience/cardiovascular/metabolism and modalities (oligonucleotides, ADCs) preferred.
- Communicate modeling results to multidisciplinary teams; fluent in English.
