Role: Associate Director specializing in translational modeling within Novartis's Pharmacokinetic Sciences team, focusing on oligonucleotide therapeutics (xRNA) and antibody conjugates. Responsibilities: develop and implement mechanistic PK/PD, QSP, and PBPK/PD models to inform drug discovery, candidate selection, dose optimization, and lifecycle management; support preclinical and clinical integration; lead strategic modeling initiatives, including platform development and innovative workflows like AI integration; foster internal collaboration and external visibility of modeling efforts. Requirements: Ph.D. in biological sciences, bioengineering, or related field; 7+ years industry experience with advanced modeling expertise, including proficiency in MATLAB, R, and mechanistic modeling; deep knowledge of PK/PD, QSP, PBPK/PD, and pharmacometrics; experience in neuroscience, cardiovascular, or metabolism areas and modalities like oligonucleotides or ADCs preferred. High-Value: biologics and oligonucleotide modalities, translational modeling across preclinical and clinical stages, supporting early dose selection and lifecycle management. WorkSetup: hybrid role based in Cambridge, MA, with ~12 days/month on-site.
