Associate Director, Translational Genetics and Medicine

Role: Physician-scientist in Translational Research focused on guiding target discovery, validation, and early clinical development (Ph1/2) for RNAi therapeutics. Responsibilities: integrate clinical medicine with human genetic and trial data to generate therapeutic hypotheses, identify and collaborate with clinical opinion leaders, evaluate target feasibility, lead biomarker strategies, and represent translational efforts across preclinical to Phase 2 trials. Requirements: MD or MD/PhD with subspecialty training, experience in rare/common diseases, proven ability to translate basic science into clinical context, strong scientific communication skills, and familiarity with human genetics, biomarker discovery, or therapeutic development. Preferred: industry or academic background, computational biology/bioinformatics skills, and experience with genetic data.
