Associate Director, Training and Deviations

Role: Associate Director of Training and Deviations at Bristol Myers Squibb, overseeing manufacturing training strategies and deviation investigations within cell therapy production. Responsibilities: lead site-specific training programs, manage deviation assessments, ensure GMP compliance, develop a culture of learning and accountability, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Manage teams of Manufacturing Trainers and Deviation Assessment Writers, collaborate with quality and operations, and support audit readiness. Requirements: Bachelor's in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field; minimum 8 years manufacturing experience (12 without degree); at least 6 years leading teams; 5 years developing regulated training strategies and managing deviation investigations; strong GMP, EOHSS, and ATMP knowledge. Preferred: experience supporting 24/7 manufacturing, lean principles, training design, and risk management. High-value: focus on cell therapy, GMP compliance, deviation management, and workforce training within a highly regulated, biologics/ATMP environment. Work setup: primarily onsite, shift flexibility required to support a 24/7 operation.
