This role is fully remote. Travel to headquarters or alternate sites for meetings and training events will be required at the discretion of management.
Job Overview
Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Training and Development, the Associate Director, Commercial Training - Veligrotug is responsible for assisting in the development of all product, disease state, competitive landscape, and skills training for all field personnel. The role involves development, operational planning, and implementation of the full annual training program, primary facilitation of all sales training classes, pull through of learning programs, and skills training for field leadership and Specialty Account Managers.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Develop, coordinate, execute and deliver field force training programs to improve impact and commercial performance
- Implement an onboarding plan for sales team members covering disease state education, product training, and selling skills
- Assess employee skills, performance, and productivity to prepare written evaluations with content for continuous improvement
- Research new training materials and platforms that may enhance training procedures and provide value to our field force associates
- Track and maintain all records related to completed modules, assessments, and annual certifications
Qualifications:
- 10 years of relevant sales training experience including content development and delivery
- Experience building a launch training program and related content, 1st commercial launch experience preferred
- Bachelor of Arts/Science required.
- Advanced degrees preferred (e.g., Masters, MBA, etc.)
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven mindset of proactive continuous improvement
- Efficient independent worker with ability to focus and drive for results
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks
- Strong commitment to ethical standards
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
- Ability to travel up to 30% with periods of 70% travel required during sales force hiring and launch phases
- The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience
