Associate Director – Technical Services/Manufacturing Science - Analytical Support

Role: Lead a technical organization overseeing biological and bioconjugate manufacturing processes at a GMP manufacturing startup for monoclonal antibodies and bioconjugates. Objectives include ensuring process robustness, process monitoring, and regulatory compliance during facility startup. Responsibilities: build and develop a high-performing team, provide technical oversight for biological processes, review critical documentation such as protocols and reports, and support facility readiness for GMP operations. Requirements: BS/MS/PhD in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or chemical engineering with 5+ years in biopharma, including 3+ years in leadership. Experience in analytical method development for biologics and GMP manufacturing preferred. High-value: biopharma manufacturing, biologics/bioconjugates, GMP compliance, process validation, regulatory interactions, facility startup, cross-functional collaboration. Work setup: onsite in Goochland County, Virginia, with minimal travel; flexible support for operational needs.
