Associate Director, Supply Chain Operations (South San Francisco, CA) β Onsite 4 days/week
What youβll do:
- Integrated Supply Planning: Drive S&OP; synchronize demand forecasting with production capacity; minimize excess inventory; build end-to-end demand/supply planning tools.
- ERP Systems Management: Lead NetSuite integrations; SME for inventory/supply modules; ensure data integrity for master data, lot/batch tracking, serialization, and expiry; optimize ERP/MRP for visibility and accuracy; champion tools (Prognosis, Kinaxis, O9, OMP) for real-time visibility.
- Quality & Compliance: Partner with Quality/Regulatory to support cGMP, audits, and temperature-controlled cold-chain logistics.
- Risk Mitigation & Analytics: Create contingency plans for supply disruptions; maintain forecasting; report KPIs (e.g., OTIF).
- Demand Planning and Forecasting: Use historical data, market trends, forecasting software, and AI to predict demand; partner with Clinical, Commercial, Development, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and IT.
- Inventory Management: Optimize stock availability and cost (right products, right place, right time).
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree (Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business).
- 8+ years in pharmaceutical supply chain/procurement/manufacturing; cGMP experience highly sought.
- Advanced ERP and forecasting skills (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) and advanced Excel/data analytics; align business requirements with technical configuration, data integration, and reporting.
- Leadership and continuous improvement; global supply chain best practices (S&OP, inventory optimization, supplier management).
- Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, ICH).
