Role Summary
Associate Director - Supply Chain Analytics leads data-driven optimization across the global supply chain, combining data science, operations research, and business analytics to support strategic and operational decision-making. You will transform enterprise data into analytics solutions that identify trends, optimize inventory and scheduling, and prescribe actions to improve business outcomes. You will partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, and Distribution to design and deploy analytics using platforms like Power BI and SAP, applying quantitative methods to deliver measurable value.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Ownership: Involved in the complete analytics lifecycleโfrom identifying business needs through solution design, deployment, and adoption.
- Diverse Impact: Your work will influence decisions across all levels of the organization, from frontline planners to executive leadership.
- Technology Innovation: You will explore emerging analytics capabilities and shape how we leverage new tools and methodologies.
- Global Perspective: You will gain exposure to pharmaceutical supply chains spanning multiple continents and regulatory environments.
- Analytics Delivery: Build analytics solutions from transactional data to predict outcomes and prescribe actions; apply quantitative methods to optimize inventory, production scheduling, and distribution networks.
Qualifications
- Required: 5+ years in manufacturing/supply chain roles with hands-on understanding of material flows and supply chain processes.
- Required: Strong technical skills in Power BI, SAP, Excel, and SQL.
- Required: Experience applying analytical methods to solve business problems.
- Preferred: Pharmaceutical or regulated industry background.
- Preferred: Operations research techniques: optimization, simulation, statistical modeling, forecasting.
- Preferred: Programming skills (Python, R) for advanced analytics augmented with AI.
- Preferred: Lean Six Sigma training and project experience.
- Preferred: Advanced degree in a quantitative field.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or related quantitative field.
Additional Requirements
- This is an onsite role based in Indianapolis.
- Travel expectation up to 10%, domestic and international.
