Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner across the RGM CDU Leadership Team (LT), driving alignment for portfolio and departmental planning with long-term objectives.
- Oversee collation and tracking of critical program and departmental initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, special projects, and organizational planning efforts.
- Develop and deliver high-impact presentations for the Head of RGM CDU (pipeline progress, strategic issues, external collaborator overviews, financial performance updates, and organizational changes).
- Enhance resource management; conduct strategic mid-range headcount planning (permanent and contract) and manage approvals for permanent headcount.
- Guide line managers in performance and talent discussions; partner to refine succession planning processes.
- Lead infrastructure and space planning initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.
- Prepare and facilitate monthly departmental meetings (strategy, communications, agendas, minutes, and follow-up).
- Identify and champion continuous improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with Global Development Strategic Planning & Operations to navigate process changes and resolve issues impacting RGM CDU.
- Champion adoption of AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, Microsoft Copilot) to streamline workflows and improve strategic output.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated depth of understanding of the drug development process.
- Strategic and tactical execution with strong planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in AI-powered productivity tools (Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or equivalent), including drafting, research synthesis, structured analysis, and presentation development.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects; experience contributing/leading cross-functional strategic change.
- Proficiency in MS applications (Teams, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, PhD, or Pharm D.
