Role Summary
Associate Director Strategic Partnerships & Business Operations at Regeneron overseeing strategic relationships with clinical trial sites and site networks to drive executional and scientific excellence across the clinical development portfolio. Responsible for governance frameworks with priority clinical trial sites, governance meetings, partnership metrics, and day-to-day issue identification and resolution.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for priority clinical trial sites
- Establish a governance structure to manage relationships with high priority clinical trial sites
- Plan and facilitate governance meetings such as joint research committees and portfolio reviews
- Manage partnership metrics
- Manage communication and issue escalation pathways
- Manage day-to-day activities to achieve the strategic objectives of the relationship
- Act as a key internal and external point of contact to proactively identify and resolve potential issues
- Act as an internal subject matter expert for the clinical institution to provide guidance to other departments within Regeneron
- Manage critical initiatives with high priority clinical trial sites
Qualifications
- Previous experience in and a deep understanding of the drug development process
- Previous experience maintaining relationships with clinical institutions including executive-level communication and stakeholder management
- Solid organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail
- Results-oriented, collaborative style
- Experience in planning and execution; strategic thinking with tactical execution
- Resiliency; ability to explore different paths to achieve an outcome
- Good judgment and initiative to improve processes
- Experience operating across a matrix of teams and influencing without authority
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required; 10+ years of experience in pharma or related field
- Advanced degrees (MS, MBA) preferred with 8+ years of proven experience
