Key Responsibilities Include:
- Work with Functional Leadership to identify business opportunities; manage stakeholder expectations and scope.
- Manage Implementation Teams; drive project completion to achieve short- and long-term outcomes.
- Own key deliverables (timelines, risk matrix, dashboards, communication plan) and be accountable for overall program delivery.
- Evaluate strategic risks; recommend actions and develop plans for scenarios.
- Synthesize input across disciplines to discover best solutions in a total business context.
- Link strategic objectives to work; guide team to build future capabilities; use conflict resolution tactics.
- Apply technology in innovative ways to anticipate/address customer needs.
- Build and sustain day-to-day relationships and communications (including project briefings) with internal business partners (including executive level) and other resources.
- Direct and coordinate team work across potentially multiple projects (project managers, business/technology resources, user groups, internal/external consultants, contractors, vendors); manage and forecast SME and resource workloads.
- Promote operational excellence, best practices, and knowledge sharing across ICEx global, area, and affiliate teams.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in related business, finance, technology, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years executing large, cross-functional/global initiatives using a project management framework in business operations (preferably pharma or consulting).
- Proven track record leading multiple projects/processes as an independent and team contributor.
- Strong oral/written communication; ability to craft business cases and stakeholder presentations.
- Awareness of cultural nuances; proven ability to work globally.
- Ability to build trust/credibility with internal partners (BTS, HR, Finance) and external vendors.
- Ability to manage through ambiguity; create structure and alignment with limited direction.
- Experience analyzing complex business problems; facilitate design of innovative solutions (standard process design, use case gathering, or design thinking desired).
Preferred:
- PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent advanced project management/process improvement certifications.
- Extensive project planning/management experience implementing business and/or technology initiatives in a commercial setting.
