Associate Director, Strategic Field Operations Planning (Pharma/Biotech)

Role: Associate Director, Strategic Field Operations Planning at AstraZeneca, responsible for translating complex field-facing priorities into scalable commercial operations. Objectives include establishing governance, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring effective execution of initiatives across sales readiness, credentialing, licensing, and vendor management. Responsibilities involve designing operating frameworks, managing cross-functional workstreams, influencing external vendors and consultant groups, and developing strategic communication and escalation processes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or related field; 3+ years in project or operations management within healthcare or commercial environments; experience leading complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders; and vendor management expertise. Preferred: 5+ years in commercial or sales operations, healthcare compliance, vendor oversight, and strategic planning, especially within biopharma or life sciences; experience with credentialing, licensing, provider onboarding, or healthcare regulatory processes; and proven influence across matrixed teams.
