Associate Director, Sourcing Strategy & Procurement

Role: Associate Director, Strategic Sourcing, leading category management and procurement strategies for CMC, Supply Chain, and QA functions in a biopharma setting focused on metabolic liver disease therapeutics. Responsibilities: develop and execute sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations, and drive value creation while mitigating supply risks; collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance; support clinical and commercial supply continuity, compliance, and process optimization; oversee supplier performance monitoring and contract management. Requirements: Bachelor's in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related; 8+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement within highly regulated industries, with 5+ years supporting pharma/biotech environments; strong negotiation, category management, and supplier relationship skills. Preferred: experience supporting CMC, manufacturing, quality, GxP regulations, and managing CDMOs; knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chains and external manufacturing models.
