Associate Director Solutions Partner (Scientific Data Product Owner)

Role: Associate Director Solutions Partner, serving as a Scientific Data Product Owner to develop and execute the data strategy for modelling, connecting, and managing scientific data in an enterprise data lake specific to biopharma R&D. Responsibilities: define data architecture and governance, partner with data engineering to design ingestion pipelines, own product roadmap and backlog for scientific data products, design relational data models for entities like compounds, samples, and assays, translate stakeholder needs into data solutions, ensure compliance with FAIR principles, and incorporate AI-driven data discovery approaches. Requirements: BS/BA in a scientific discipline; 10+ years managing scientific laboratory data in biotech or pharma R&D; strong background in biology or chemistry (preferably PhD); hands-on data modelling skills; familiarity with lab informatics systems (ELN, LIMS); proficiency in SQL, Databricks, and data pipelines; experience in product management and stakeholder engagement. Preferred: experience with Databricks lakehouse, knowledge graphs, ontologies, AI/ML workflows, and data governance frameworks; understanding of regulatory considerations in pharma R&D.
