Role Overview:
- Experienced leader in ServiceNow Quality Engineering for the Global Technology division.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead testing for developed and out-of-the-box (OOTB) code; deliver automated and manual testing documents to validate requirements and expected OOTB behavior.
- Based in West Point; hybrid work policy.
What You Will Do:
- Define, document, and drive testing roadmap and QA standards across ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, IRM/GRC, HRSD).
- Create test plans; coordinate unit testing, SIT, regression testing, and UAT.
- Validate functionality, configurations, customizations, and integrations before Production releases (especially during upgrades/patch cycles).
- Develop and execute a maturity roadmap to advance Testing into Quality Engineering using AI-driven capabilities.
- Lead defect triage; analyze root causes; partner with Developers and Product Owners for timely resolution.
- Build/scale automated test suites using AutomatePro AutoTesting and, where applicable, ServiceNow ATF.
- Perform data validation for CMDB integrity and support large data migration transforms.
- Establish/track quality KPIs (e.g., test coverage, defect leakage rates) to support release readiness.
- Support test execution; lead/mentor junior engineers and distribute workloads across agile squads.
Education:
- Bachelorβs degree in IT, Computer Science, or any Technology stream.
What Should You Have:
- 12+ years testing experience (creating/executing/managing).
- Automated Test Framework experience (AutomatePro knowledge highly desirable).
- ITIL knowledge/best practices for ITSM highly desirable.
- Strong organization/time management; Agile development understanding is a plus.
Required/Preferred Skills:
- Agile; Agile project management/scrum; testing automation/ATF; application integrations; SDLC; solution/system architecture; platform design/development/management; data engineering/visualization; maturity models.
