Role: Associate Director of Site Contracting Governance & Strategy, providing strategic leadership for regional site contracting functions within biopharma operations. Responsibilities: oversee negotiations, complex legal and budget escalations, develop global contracting standards, and shape regional contracting strategy. Lead a team of experienced negotiators, manage high-risk escalations in legal, financial, and contractual areas, and ensure enterprise-wide compliance and governance. Drive cross-functional alignment with Legal, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders; own governance documentation, SOPs, and knowledge management; monitor portfolio performance; spearhead innovation in contracting processes and risk mitigation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Law, Business, or Life Sciences; minimum 10 years of leadership in clinical or site contract governance; expertise in global standards, compliance, and SOP alignment; strong stakeholder management and project management skills; proficient in contract management systems and Microsoft Office. Preferred: leadership certification. High-Value biopharma specifics: focus on clinical site negotiations, legal and financial escalation management, governance frameworks, and enterprise strategy. Work setup: roles may require onsite presence per occupancy structure, with some roles eligible for hybrid work; up to 20% travel for regional and cross-functional engagement.
