Associate Director, SEO, GEO & Content Performance
Primary Responsibilities
- Define and lead an integrated SEO & GEO strategy aligned to species marketing and enterprise priorities.
- Evolve KPIs to include AI citations, share of voice, and discoverability.
- Identify high-impact use cases across brands, markets, and customer segments.
- Optimize content for search rankings and AI consumption; ensure content is structured, authoritative, and citation-ready.
- Establish AI-friendly content standards (clarity, structure, factual accuracy).
- Define taxonomy, metadata, and schema standards with MarTech/IT for machine readability.
- Build and operationalize GEO capabilities; monitor AI-generated answer visibility and improve content inclusion.
- Define frameworks for trusted, referenced content surfaced by AI.
- Track and report performance across SEO (rankings, CTR, organic traffic) and GEO (citations, mentions, AI visibility, zero-click outcomes).
Qualifications
- 7+ years in SEO, digital marketing, or search strategy; proven enterprise/global SEO program experience.
- Strong Technical SEO (site structure, crawlability, schema) and content strategy/optimization.
- Familiarity with AI-driven search trends and LLMs.
- Strong English communication and global leadership presence.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Animal health or regulated-industry experience; AI search/GEO exposure and emerging tools.
- Experience with SEMRush, Google Analytics; content strategy/omnichannel/MarTech background.
- Strong analytical mindset and leadership in matrixed environments.
- Ability to understand and distill complex information for specific audiences.
Education
- Bachelorβs degree in marketing/communications/information management or related; advanced degree preferred.

- Salary range: $142,400.00β$224,100.00.
