Role: Associate Director, Scientific Communications within Medical Affairs, responsible for developing and executing strategic medical communication plans to support Edgewise's cardiovascular therapeutics pipeline, including hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and heart failure. Responsibilities: create clear, accurate scientific content for healthcare professionals, internal teams, and external stakeholders; oversee publication plans and ensure compliance with industry standards; manage cross-functional projects, timelines, and external agency relationships; support scientific training, congress materials, and medical education initiatives; maintain scientific narratives and standards; and contribute to Medical Affairs planning and budget. Requirements: advanced degree in life sciences, with 8+ years (MS) or 5+ years (PhD) relevant experience in biotech/pharma or medical communications; proven expertise in medical writing, publication development, and scientific content creation; strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and agency oversight skills; knowledge of cardiovascular disease, including cardiomyopathy and heart failure; experience with publication and content management systems; CMPP certification preferred.
