Associate Director, Salesforce Technical Architect

Role: Lead Salesforce platform architecture and strategy for Vertex's CF patient services, driving technical initiatives and solutions to support patient support teams. Responsibilities: define and optimize DevOps, manage cross-disease architecture, lead system design, oversee platform support, releases, risk management, and stakeholder engagement; collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors; coach teams and manage budgets. Requirements: 5+ years in biotech/pharma with Salesforce expertise; experience in GxP systems, SaaS, and stakeholder/vendor management; strong technical knowledge in Cell & Gene Therapy, patient portals, and supply systems; familiar with agile frameworks, DevOps, and AI automation tools. Preferred: experience with CMOs, AI, and multi-modal therapeutic areas.
