Responsibilities:
- Design real-world retrospective and prospective cohort studies supporting pipeline and post-marketing products.
- Define patient cohorts and health and economic outcomes.
- Program data processing, management, and statistical analysis on registry and large claims/EHR/EMR databases using SAS/SQL/R/Python (and related tools).
- Select and apply appropriate statistical methods for health and economic outcome studies.
- Develop statistical analysis plans and statistical outputs to support internal strategy and external communications.
- Assist in health/outcome research publications (drafting/reviewing Methods and Results sections).
- Assist in development of presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current with new statistical methods, tools, and data sources.
Qualifications:
- Masterβs degree or higher in quantitative sciences (e.g., epidemiology, biostatistics, psychometrics, computer science or related) plus at least 10 years of hands-on analytical/research experience.
- Required: SQL or Python experience managing large administrative/medical records databases.
- Required: Statistical analysis with SQL, SAS, R, and/or Python.
- Required: Knowledge of large administrative/medical records databases.
- Required: Statistical modeling experience (multivariable analysis, repeated measures, and data distributions) for clinical/outcome research; non-randomized design experience.
- Required: Experience writing protocols, especially statistical methods sections of study proposals.
- Preferred: Epidemiology background (etiology, incidence/prevalence, treatments such as patterns/adherence/effectiveness).
- Preferred: Advanced analytics (e.g., machine learning) and data interpretation.
Skills:
- Advanced programming/analytical skills in SAS, SQL, R, Python.
- Understanding of investigational/observational study designs; observational research and study design experience.
- Ability to prioritize, work independently and collaboratively, and communicate clearly (verbal/written).
- Experience working with cross-functional, multi-cultural teams.

Pay:
- Base pay range: $141,000 to $194,000 annually.
