Position Overview
The Associate Director, Regional Marketer role (Marketing) reports to Director, Market Development. In-field connection to the marketing team, engaging key commercially important thought leaders and leveraging regional/local marketing opportunities in assigned geography (AZ, CO, UT, CA, WA, NM, OR, NV).
What Youβll Do (Responsibilities)
- Lead and execute regional marketing plans.
- Work with Agency of Record (AOR) and home office to develop/execute regional plans (asset deployment, geo-targeting media, congress planning).
- Identify, monitor, and report regional KPIs.
- Align with cross-functional team on local account planning (Associate Director, Strategic Accounts, Hematology Therapeutic Specialists).
- Identify local/regional HCPs for webcasts, videos, promotional materials, and training; identify/develop thought leaders and KOLs (hematology/oncology; lymphoma community).
- Support account plan development/execution by mapping regional thought-leader influence.
- Develop/execute regional advisory boards and third-party programs.
- Recruit HCPs for ZYNLONTA Speaker Bureau and disease state programs.
- Attend regional/national conferences; arrange meetings with TLs and company leadership; coordinate company onsite presence.
- Collaborate with digital marketing on geotargeting/advertising.
- Gather insights for HQ and field leadership.
- Maintain KOL coordination and clarify role boundaries across HQ, field commercial/medical, and Clinical Development.
- Monitor lymphoma treater landscape; coordinate/execute local patient advocacy events.
- Work with patient marketing, corporate communications, and sales to support advocacy meetings/events.
- Manage agency partnerships and budget allocation.
Requirements (Qualifications/Skills)
- Bachelorβs degree required; healthcare certification/qualification (e.g., RN, RPh) preferred.
- 5+ years pharma/biotech experience in hematology/oncology; academic setting experience important.
- Product launch experience in hematology/oncology.
- 2+ years direct experience with hematology thought leaders (physician/nurse) with access to academic/key institutions.
- 2 years marketing/agency or related in-house commercial role.
- 2+ years field sales or market access leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge of competitive hematology/oncology commercial issues preferred.
- Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking.
- Ability to understand/explain complex clinical data and disease-state information.
- Track record meeting/exceeding qualitative/quantitative goals.
- Experience developing strategy and executing tactics with budget oversight/management.
- 40β50% domestic travel required.
