Role Summary
Associate Director, Regional Marketing (Mid-Atlantic Region) responsible for in-field connection to the marketing team, engaging key thought leaders, and leveraging regional and local marketing opportunities in assigned geography.
Location coverage includes states: VA, MD, MS, AL, LA, AR, MI, OH (part of), TN.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute regional marketing plans
- Collaborate with Agency of Record and home office to deploy assets, execute geo-targeted media, and plan congress activities
- Identify, monitor, and report key regional performance metrics
- Align with cross-functional matrix team on local account planning
- Identify local/regional HCPs for projects, including webcasts, videos, promotional materials, and training
- Identify and develop regional/local thought leaders
- Engage with local/regional KOLs in Hematology/Oncology, especially lymphoma
- Map regional TL influence and support regional account plan development and execution
- Develop and execute regional advisory boards and third-party programs
- Engage HCPs for ADC Therapeutics Speaker Bureau for ZYNLONTA and disease state programs
- Attend regional/national conferences to engage TLs and collect competitive insights
- Coordinate company presence onsite with field leadership
- Arrange meetings with TLs and company leadership
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing on geotargeting and advertising opportunities
- Provide insight to HQ and field leadership
- Coordinate with headquarters, regional field teams, medical teams, and Clinical Development to manage KOL coordination and role boundaries
- Monitor Lymphoma Treater landscape and external events/data
- Plan and execute local Patient Advocacy events
- Support advocacy meetings/events with Patient Marketing, corporate communications, and sales where appropriate TL engagement is possible
- Agency management and budget coordination with Regional Marketing Lead
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs Degree required; healthcare certification/qualification (e.g., RN, RPh) preferred
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech, especially hematology/oncology; academic experience valued
- Product launch experience in hematology/oncology
- At least 2 years direct experience with hematology thought leaders and access to academic/key institutions
- 2+ years in marketing/agency or related in-house commercial role
- 2+ years field sales or market access leadership in pharma/biotech preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial issues in competitive hematology/oncology therapies
- Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to understand and explain complex clinical data to internal and external stakeholders
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals
- Experience developing strategy and managing budgets
- 40-50% domestic travel required
