Role Summary

Associate Director, Regional Marketing Lead (North Carolinas) responsible for developing and implementing Regional Marketing Plans for Lung in the Carolinas, aligning with brand strategy to influence local commercial success. Coordinates with Oncology Business Managers and National Oncology Account Directors to connect headquarters marketing with geographic needs. Generates on-label customer insights to inform regional brand planning and builds market leadership through tailored initiatives and engagement with regional customers. Reports to the Head of Regional Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Regional Marketing: Develop and implement Regional Marketing Plans aligned with brand strategy imperatives; incorporate input from external thought leaders to build market leadership and achieve commercial objectives.
  • ESE Customer Engagement: Identify and engage 35-50 National and Regional ESEs using advanced scientific communication and business skills to advocate the brand.
  • Insights Generation: Generate timely, actionable customer insights to inform Brand strategy and medical/marketing adjustments through 1:1s, congresses, consultancies, and advisory boards.
  • Business Ethics and Foresight: Prioritize multiple program budgets, timelines, processes, and procedures in a compliant manner.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with field sales leadership, ADs, and Brand Teams to develop and implement local regional strategies based on market opportunities.
  • Other Duties: Some work may be conducted during evenings and weekends.
  • Travel: Overnight travel required, including Hawaii and overseas; up to 50% travel monthly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare with experience in managed markets, brand marketing, sales management, or strategic planning
  • 3 years of Oncology marketing or sales experience
  • Documented success in partnership-building with industry thought leaders

Preferred

  • Advanced Degree (MS, MBA, or PhD)
  • 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare with experience in managed markets, brand marketing, sales management, or strategic planning
  • 5 years of Oncology marketing or sales experience
  • Extensive thought leader/KOL management
