Associate Director, Real World Data Strategy

Description
Drive end-to-end real-world data (RWD) capabilities across strategy, partnerships, acquisition, data management, product development, governance, and value realization to ensure RWD investments deliver measurable business value and support advanced analytics and AI use cases.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute RWD initiatives aligned with R&D and enterprise priorities
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions
- Prioritize and deliver data/analytics initiatives aligned to strategic goals
- Identify, evaluate, and utilize internal/external data assets (e.g., claims, EHR, registries)
- Support end-to-end data lifecycle (acquisition, management, enablement)
- Ensure data quality, consistency, accessibility, and usability
- Collaborate with product/engineering/analytics to develop and adopt scalable data solutions
- Promote standardization, reuse, and efficient enterprise use of data
- Ensure data governance, compliance, and regulatory adherence
- Enable analytics/reporting and AI/ML use cases; drive stakeholder engagement and adoption
- Monitor progress, risks, outcomes; communicate insights to leadership; drive continuous improvement

Position Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master in life science or data-related field, or MBA)
- 5+ years in data strategy/analytics/consulting/RWD roles
- Healthcare/life sciences/RWD ecosystem experience required
- Proven cross-functional, matrixed environment experience

- Data strategy/data products/analytics ecosystem; data governance & lifecycle management
- Demand management, prioritization, program delivery; program management/organization

- AI/ML data readiness and modern data platforms knowledge

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- US base pay range: $164,050–$198,790
