Associate Director, R&D IT Portfolio Delivery Lead

Role: Associate Director, R&D BI&IT Portfolio Delivery Lead, overseeing the management and execution of BMS's R&D IT project portfolio to align with strategic priorities and ensure optimal resource utilization. Responsibilities: lead portfolio governance, stakeholder engagement, financial oversight, risk management, and adoption of Agile methodologies; drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Qualifications: bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field; 8+ years in IT project management with at least 3 years in portfolio or program management, preferably within pharmaceutical research or life sciences; expertise in financial management, Agile practices, and industry compliance (GxP, FDA, GDPR). Preferred: advanced degree, certifications (PMP, PgMP, Agile certs), and experience with project management tools like Jira. High-Value: pharmaceutical R&D focus, IT portfolio management, Agile implementation, cross-functional stakeholder collaboration, regulatory compliance, and global work environment with some onsite/hybrid expectations.
