Associate Director R&D AI Solutions & Analytics

Role: Lead the development and implementation of AI-enabled analytics solutions within R&D to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and portfolio insights. Responsibilities include designing scalable AI-driven products, partnering with Digital/IT teams and vendors, and supporting deployment of use cases such as clinical operations and workflow automation. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field; 8+ years in analytics, AI, or digital innovation in pharma/biotech environments; hands-on experience with AI data products, dashboards, and regulated R&D settings; knowledge of industry data standards like CDISC and FHIR; ability to manage multiple initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally. Preferred: Experience in clinical development, safety, regulatory, or related areas. High-value: Focus on AI solutions for clinical and operational R&D processes within a biotech context, supporting mid- to late-stage programs. Work setup: Hybrid roles based in San Diego, CA, San Francisco, CA, or Princeton, NJ, with travel as needed.
