Role: Associate Director within the Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics (QP2) Department supporting cardiometabolic pipelines. Responsibilities include developing and applying model-based strategies such as translational PK/PD, mechanistic models, population analyses, and clinical trial simulations to inform decision-making across discovery and development stages. The role involves representing QP2 on cross-functional teams, collaborating with internal and external partners, study design, data interpretation, and contributing to regulatory documentation. Requirements: Ph.D. (4+ years), PharmD (6+ years), or MS (8+ years) in biopharmaceutics, pharmacometrics, or related fields; experience with pharmacometric modeling software (e.g., NONMEM, Phoenix); strong communication skills; expertise in modeling complex therapeutics. Preferred: knowledge of cardiometabolic drug development, biologics, small molecules, and regulatory processes. High-value: focus on cardiometabolic and ophthalmologic diseases, involvement in early to late clinical development, hybrid work setup, with approximately 10% travel.
