Role Summary

The Associate Director - Quality Transformation & Digital Enablement supports the integration of digital technologies and strategies that enhance performance, efficiency, and compliance across Eli Lillyโ€šร„รดs Global Quality organization. This individual contributor role focuses on day-to-day execution, program support, and cross-functional coordination to ensure digital initiatives are effectively implemented and adopted.

Responsibilities

  • Digital Quality Strategy Development: Draft inputs for digital quality strategies by gathering business needs, stakeholder feedback, and system requirements to inform enterprise initiatives.
  • System Deployment Execution: Coordinate day-to-day activities for digital quality system implementations and upgrades. Serve as a resource for program teams by addressing questions, documenting issues, and escalating to senior leadership as needed.
  • Process Improvement Support: Support cross-functional quality transformation initiatives by collecting data, tracking improvements, and ensuring digital enablement activities are incorporated into operational workflows.
  • Performance Tracking: Maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks for quality performance metrics. Consolidate data and provide insights to inform senior-level reviews and decision making.
  • Compliance and Risk Support: Monitor compliance considerations during digital project delivery and surface potential risks for senior-level guidance.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with Procurement, IT, and other functions to manage technology partners, track issues, and ensure vendor deliverables meet quality objectives.
  • Change and Capability Support: Provide tools, training materials, and resources to help quality teams adopt digital systems. Act as a day-to-day contact for users and escalate adoption barriers to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€šร„รดs degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Technical Operations, or IT.
  • Experience deploying enterprise system implementations or digital transformation projects. Familiarity with GxP, QMS, CAPA, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with dashboards, automation, or analytics. Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Experience in regulated environments, preferably pharma or life sciences.
  • MBA or MS in Engineering, Life Sciences, or Quality preferred.
  • Professional certifications in Quality, Regulatory, or Operational Excellence (e.g., ASQ, Lean Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and AI/ML in quality operations. Experience with global system deployment or integration. Knowledge of data integrity principles (e.g., ALCOA+).
