Associate Director, Quality Assurance (Quality Management System)

Role: Lead the global laboratory Quality Management System ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and similar standards across sites in the UK, Ireland, and the USA. Responsibilities: harmonize quality procedures, oversee audit readiness and accreditation, manage documentation and internal audits, monitor quality KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and coach site Quality Representatives. Requirements: 5+ years in quality within a scientific or testing lab environment, bachelor’s in a scientific discipline, expertise in ISO 17025/9001, experience managing audits and CAPA programs, strong analytical skills, and stakeholder management ability. Preferred: advanced degrees or certifications like ASQ or Lead Auditor, experience with digital tools and new technologies, and ability to support a multi-site global lab network. High-Value: focus on laboratory testing quality, multi-site coordination, global accreditation, and scientific testing in a regulated environment. Work Setup: hybrid model with international travel (~15-20%) to support global sites.
