Associate Director, Quality Assurance (Global Supplier Quality)

Role: Associate Director, Global Supplier Quality, leading Gilead's supplier change notification and assessment programs. Responsibilities: oversee global supplier change governance, ensure accurate Approved Supplier List management, maintain supplier data integrity, and develop metrics for performance insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Regulatory Affairs to proactively manage supplier quality risks and ensure compliance. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation efforts in supplier quality processes. Provide leadership in global governance forums and represent quality in audits and inspections. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, or related biotech/pharma functions; deep expertise in supplier lifecycle management, GMP, GxP, and regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, ICH). Proficiency with quality management systems like Veeva, SAP, or GPLM; strong analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, experience leading global quality programs, and knowledge of data governance principles. High-value specifics include focus on GMP supplier change management, risk-based decision-making, and enterprise quality systems.
