Associate Director, Program & Portfolio Operations

Role: Associate Director, Program Budget Delivery Lead — a strategic content-level leadership position within Program & Portfolio Operations, focused on enabling the consistent, decision-ready delivery of Program Budgets for drug development programs from IND through lifecycle management. Responsibilities: partner closely with Development Program Managers, Program Finance, and Strategic Program Teams to co-develop high-quality, comparable program budgets; forecast resources and costs; facilitate portfolio-level investment decisions; ensure timely updates; and support capability building across the organization. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 10+ years industry experience, including 5+ years in project management within biotech/pharma; strong financial expertise in budgeting, resource forecasting, and development costs; proven strategic planning, portfolio management, and cross-functional collaboration skills; excellent communication and organizational abilities; proficiency in MS Office and project management tools. Preferred: MBA. High-Value: industry experience in drug development (early to lifecycle phases), cross-functional stakeholder engagement, financial modeling, and strategic planning within biotech or pharmaceutical settings.
