What You’ll Be Doing

The HEOR Tech at Lilly team in Indianapolis, IN seeks an Associate Director to lead technical transformation strategies and oversee support, release delivery, and innovation for core HEOR applications. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders—including senior management, technical experts, and vendors—to ensure successful project execution. Responsibilities include enabling information management, evidence planning, data analytics, and AI capabilities to support evidence generation.

The position requires strong leadership, cross-functional partnership, business process analysis, and adaptability to new technologies. As Associate Director – Evidence Generation, in Indianapolis, IN you will report to the Sr Director – Health Economics Outcomes Research.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Own and evolve the product roadmap for key HEOR applications by incorporating stakeholder requirements and end user needs.
  • Oversee support operations of HEOR evidence planning.
  • Lead end user research and stakeholder engagement to define product enhancements and prioritize deliverables.
  • Partner with infrastructure teams and vendors to plan and deliver technical solutions, balancing speed, quality, and compliance.
  • Advocate for investment by developing business cases and communicating product value and impact.
  • Continuously assess industry trends and emerging technologies to inform roadmap decisions.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.

What You Should Bring

  • Proven history of solution delivery.
  • Experience managing business platforms.
  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile or other scaled Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into strategic initiatives and vice versa.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and KPI tracking for measuring product success.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and driving work across global teams.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of experience as an IT professional.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or IT strategy and global program implementation.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $123,000 - $180,400.

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
