Associate Director, Process Chemistry

Role: Associate Director, Process Chemistry within the API Development team, responsible for managing API/Intermediate/RSM manufacturing at Insmed’s CMOs. Main objectives include process route development, tech transfer, process optimization, validation, and supporting clinical and commercial manufacturing. Responsibilities involve leading cross-functional collaboration with research, overseeing tech transfer and scale-up, providing technical SME support, and managing process improvements and quality documentation. Requirements include a PhD with 2+ years or a Master’s with 6+ years of API process development experience, plus 5+ years leading pharmaceutical manufacturing technology improvements and managing CMO operations.
