Responsibilities:
- Formulate and articulate insights about unmet medical needs and the external landscape to advise key research, clinical development, and commercialization decisions for the Internal Medicine therapeutic focus area.
- Assess and analyze market landscape; monitor changes; predict trends in market dynamics and competition.
- Stay current on Internal Medicine trends and keep leaders/development teams informed of key market developments.
- Communicate the impact of competitor developments to senior management, the Board of Directors, development/product teams, and investor relations.
- Partner with clinical development and commercial teams to inform key trial design and strategic decisions.
- Lead strategy-focused discussions with Internal Medicine leadership to inform internal portfolio strategy.
- Work closely with internal R&D constituents to ensure development decisions integrate competitive landscape insights.
- Analyze internal pipeline/portfolio and provide decision-making analyses for senior leadership.
- Attend medical conferences, monitor investor events, and lead meetings to communicate findings.

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD).
- Minimum 4+ years of proven experience.
- Knowledge/experience in consulting, Wall Street analyst work, market research, and/or competitive intelligence.
- Proven competence conducting sophisticated analyses with clinical and scientific data.

Skills/Preferred:
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and define priorities based on business/group/external context.
- Strong collaborator with clear, effective communication in group settings.
- Ability to craft clear, succinct communications and presentations.
- Flexibility and multitasking with a results-oriented approach.
