Position Summary
The Associate Director, Forecasting, Portfolio / Early Assets Transition Lead independently develops, maintains, and delivers forecasts for one or more therapeutic areas to inform brand strategy, enterprise planning cycles, and cross-functional decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end forecasting for assigned brands/therapeutic areas with transparent, evidence-based assumptions.
- Integrate market research, competitive intelligence, and chart audits; support 1-/3-year and 10-year forecasting cycles.
- Translate business questions into structured analyses and scenario plans.
- Develop and execute AI-first forecasting models (Excel-based, algorithmic, or data-enabled), including calibration and documentation.
- Run scenario and sensitivity analyses; improve logic by partnering with Forecasting Transformation, Data Science, and BI&T.
- Align assumptions with Finance, MAx, Commercial, Pricing, Medical, and Worldwide teams; explain drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Maintain quality control, documentation, audit readiness, and adherence to model-risk guidelines.
- Provide informal mentorship and guidance to analysts.

Key Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical forecasting, commercial analytics, or related quantitative fields.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Forecasting/scenario modeling proficiency; experience with pharmaceutical secondary data (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony).
- Experience building/using Excel-based, algorithmic, or AI-enabled forecast models.
- Python (preferred, not required).
- Strong data synthesis, communication/data storytelling, and structured problem-solving; rigorous QC and methodological transparency.

- Compensation range: Princeton, NJ: $167,540–$203,013 (FTE).
