Associate Director, Pharmacometrics

Responsibilities
- Drive Pharmacometrics PK/PD strategy across multiple major projects and programs; collaborate with CPPM senior management on action plans meeting drug development business needs
- Ensure appropriateness, quality, and accuracy of pharmacometrics deliverables
- Advise on complex methodologies (advanced analytics, machine learning, mechanistic modeling)
- Ensure timely delivery of PMx regulatory documents and responses to regulatory agency comments
- Contribute to departmental goals; influence strategic PK/PD decisions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards in PK/PD analyses, modeling/simulation methods, and software
- Represent Pharmacometrics in core team meetings
- Champion development, implementation, and promotion of innovative PMx approaches across therapeutic areas; identify and develop process improvement initiatives
- Participate in internal/external initiatives and working groups (e.g., process harmonization, IMI calls, ISoP groups)
- May manage personnel (development, mentoring, delegation)

Qualifications
- PhD with 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 11+ years in relevant fields (bio-/statistical modeling and simulation, PK/PD modeling, system pharmacology)
- Strategic thinking and enterprise view
- Proven scientific track record and technical skills
- Demonstrated project management skills (scope management, progress tracking/driving)
- Leadership competencies: cross-functional alignment, strategic perspective, original ideas, open communication, constructive conflict management, and motivation toward high performance
