Responsibilities:
- Lead the SMO performance & portfolio management team (including system owners) and manage key project artifacts (charters, status reports, work plans, stakeholder engagement plans, decision-making model).
- Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Quality policies/procedures and develop governance frameworks for resource allocation and investment decisions.
- Build and maintain collaborative, trusted relationships across the organization; provide project management leadership to advance strategic priorities.
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement initiatives to increase effectiveness and align capacity/capability with strategic priorities.
- Advise project sponsors/business leads on project direction and decisions; provide advisory to drive agility/efficiency via transparency and robust tracking/communication.
- Manage full project lifecycle: team accountabilities, issues/risks, decision-making, and status updates/recommendations to function head/senior management.
- Propose new projects with functional leaders to improve productivity, compliance, and efficiencies; create/track performance scorecards and dashboards; recommend recovery/pivot for underperforming initiatives.
- Ensure program-level delivery of key projects on time and meeting business needs.
- Maintain and update the master project list aligned to enterprise priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree minimum; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 10+ years project management experience and/or business excellence methodologies in global companies on large cross-functional strategic/operations initiatives.
- Project management certification(s) preferred (e.g., Lean Six Sigma; PMI PMP).
- Proven leadership success; strong oral and written communication.
- Demonstrated ability to lead/influence global multi-functional teams.
- Proven project planning/management experience implementing business and technology initiatives (ideally in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or enterprise transformation).
- Experience in global, complex, matrix environments.
