Associate Director, Payments

Role: Associate Director of Payments responsible for end-to-end clinical site payment processes in the Americas within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division. Main objectives include ensuring accurate, timely payments to clinical trial sites, optimizing payment strategies, and driving process improvements through technology and innovation. Responsibilities: lead the Payments team (in-house and outsourced), coordinate with global pricing and CTMS teams, resolve payment disputes, ensure compliance with financial and healthcare regulations, and foster talent development. Qualifications: bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of industry experience, including people management and proficiency in Procure to Pay, Clinical Trial Administration, or related fields. Preferred skills include clinical trial budget development, experience with procurement and clinical systems (e.g., CTMS, Tableau), and AI literacy. High-value specifics: focus on clinical trial operations, payment administration, and process optimization within a global pharma context, with some domestic and limited international travel (~10%).
