Associate Director, Patient Engagement

Role: Associate Director, Patient Engagement, leading AbbVie's patient engagement platform strategy, vendor partnerships, and platform modernization efforts. Responsibilities include overseeing multi-year platform planning across therapeutic areas, managing large-scale vendor relationships and budgets, and driving platform governance, compliance, and innovation. Engages cross-functionally with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Operations, representing the platform in enterprise initiatives, and ensuring seamless integration with telephony and other digital channels. Leads a high-performing team, fosters stakeholder alignment, and guides change management during platform transitions. Qualifications: B.A./B.S. in Business, Communications, or related field; 8+ years in pharma or patient services with at least 3 years in leadership; deep expertise in patient engagement, hub operations, or related functions; proven experience in platform migrations and vendor management within regulated healthcare environments. Preferred: familiarity with Salesforce Health Cloud, telephony platforms like Five9, PMP certification, and understanding of US pharmaceutical compliance.
