Associate Director, Patient Access Solutions – Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) Resource Support

Role (summary): Enable patient access by leading strategy, development, and execution of access and reimbursement educational resources for the HIV Prevention FRM team.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead creation, execution, and ongoing optimization of access and reimbursement materials, resources, and tools for the HIV Prevention FRM team (and potential broader FRM portfolio support).
- Ensure FRM materials align with patient support program positioning, access strategy, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with FRM, Patient Support, and Access & Reimbursement colleagues to translate payer insights, acquisition models, and reimbursement dynamics into effective educational resources.
- Collaborate with internal/external partners to support use of digital tools, portals, and data to address patient/provider access challenges.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships to ensure high-quality, compliant deliverables.
- Lead annual planning for FRM materials/resources; identify access barriers and drive innovative, compliant solutions.
- Oversee governance and review processes with Legal, Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, National Accounts, Brand, and Trade partners.
- Lead FRM training needs and plan the FRM National and Mid-Year Meeting.
- Ensure activities follow applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to patient support programs and field-based reimbursement.

Basic Qualifications (required by experience equivalency):
- High School Degree and 14 years’ experience; OR Associate’s degree and 12 years; OR Bachelor’s degree and 10 years; OR Master’s degree and 8 years; OR PhD and 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years in pharma/biotech/healthcare marketing, market access, patient services, or reimbursement-related roles.
- Experience supporting/partnering with FRM teams or similar field-based access roles.
- Expertise in patient/provider support programs, access & reimbursement strategies, and drug acquisition channels.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare reimbursement (medical and pharmacy benefit design).
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing without authority.
- Proven agency/vendor management experience.
- Analytics-driven decision-making and digital enablement of access tools.
- Strong project management, strategic planning, and execution; excellent communication skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving priorities; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Location/Work Setup:
- Based in Foster City, CA; not open to remote work.

Compensation & Benefits (if eligible as stated):
- Salary range: $182,070.00–$235,620.00; may be eligible for discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
