Responsibilities:
- Lead/support complex technical projects and equipment technology assessments in packaging and MDCP for new product introduction, product source changes, and device component source changes.
- Lead/support global and site-centric capital/equipment projects: new packaging equipment purchases, equipment transfer/relocation, source change assessments, and packaging site operational/launch support.
- Serve as above-site SME for packaging/assembly equipment; provide troubleshooting and end-to-end line performance/technology analysis support.
- Apply packaging scientific/technical concepts and tools (mechanical/electrical, automation, AutoCAD/SolidWorks, equipment validation/qualification, Lean/Six Sigma, GMP/safety standards, PM, preventive/predictive maintenance, serialization, VOC, process capability, root cause analysis) to resolve packaging issues.
- Partner with Serialization CoE to implement, monitor, and troubleshoot serialization strategy.
- Establish/maintain packaging equipment specification standards aligned with same-same principles across multiple platforms.
- Evaluate new technologies for compatibility with existing packaging lines and collaborate with site technology groups.

Qualifications:
Required:
- BS in Packaging Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
- 10+ years in pharma/biotech/medical devices; 3+ years in a leadership role (Maintenance/Operations/Engineering).
- Proven experience developing/implementing equipment standards across multiple sites.
- Strong background in medical device/combination product/pharma packaging equipment and operational process; design control to technology transfer.
- Exceptional project management.
- Deep GMP/quality systems expertise: qualification/validation, root cause analysis, change control, deviation management, cleaning qualification.
- Quantitative tools for RCA, risk management, options analysis.
- Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, EMA, and other international regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and oral/written communication.

Preferred:
- Advanced practical knowledge of packaging and device assembly equipment/processes.
- Ability to operate autonomously with coordination/communication/supervision.
- Track record resolving technical issues in fast-paced environments compliantly.
