The Associate Director, Operations and Communications will work directly with the franchise VP, providing project management and communication support.
Responsibilities
- Work with the franchise VP to ensure alignment between the Commercial organization and IBT.
- Integrate marketing, sales, and IBT strategies to enhance communication and execution.
- Manage scope, project plan, logistics, and schedule for strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Establish organizational tools to drive project progress, meet deadlines/goals, resolve issues, and escalate risks.
- Cross-functionally create, socialize, optimize, and implement commercial initiatives (e.g., town halls, national meetings, staff meetings, executive remarks/presentations, award/recognition programs, leadership development).
- Design and execute communications strategy using compelling content, creative storytelling, and engaging experiences (national meetings, town halls, written/digital/video communications).
- Develop and manage the franchise master calendar.
- Enhance two-way employee dialogue via new channels for connection and engagement.
- Stay current on the digital landscape and recommend new platforms.
- Evaluate strategic projects/communications using real-time metrics and analytics.
- Ensure cohesive communication across stakeholders to craft and monitor franchise action plans.
- Create and deliver PowerPoint presentations to stakeholders and partners.
- Execute communication plans and tactics aligned to broader strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree required; preferred MBA or Masterโs degree.
- Minimum 5 years sales leadership, marketing, or relevant in-house experience.
- Advanced project management and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the market and relevant trends/issues.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments; manages multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration; can own projects from idea to implementation with iteration.
- Outcomes-focused with high attention to detail.
- Relationship management and ability to motivate/lead/influence without direct authority.
- Sound problem solving and decision-making.
- Ability to distill complex content into clear, engaging communications.
