Role: Associate Director Operational Excellence in animal health manufacturing, focusing on Lean methodologies and project management to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance safety, quality, and delivery. Responsibilities: lead and coach lean improvement projects using tools like Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Kaizens; support operational problem-solving; facilitate value scouting workshops; lead regional cost-saving initiatives; and develop colleagues in continuous improvement and change management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in project management, biology, engineering, or related field; 5-7 years of experience in continuous improvement within biopharmaceutical manufacturing or quality; proficient in data analysis, lean tools, and project management; strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills. Preferred: Master's degree, Project Management Certification, formal lean training. Biopharma specifics: focus on manufacturing processes, supply chain improvements, with a regional scope; 10% travel required; based in De Soto, Kansas, with a hybrid work setup.
