Associate Director of Bioinformatics (Women's Health and Organ Health)

Role: Lead a Bioinformatics team in research and assay development for women's health and organ health diagnostics, focusing on NGS data analysis across multiple modalities like methylation and fragmentomics, in a regulated CLIA environment. Responsibilities: oversee scientific planning, assay optimization, technology evaluation, and pipeline development; mentor team members; collaborate with R&D, Product, Laboratory, and Data Science teams; ensure research prototypes transition into production workflows following software engineering standards; guide analysis improvements and support cross-functional decision-making. Requirements: Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field (or M.S. with equivalent experience); 7+ years in bioinformatics, including 3+ years leading teams; deep expertise in NGS analysis, especially cell-free DNA, multi-omic approaches, and diagnostics development; strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with cloud workflows, containerization, and automation preferred.
