Position Summary:
The Associate Director, Multiple Myeloma (MM) will report to the US Medical Affairs CT, Multiple Myeloma Lead and be based in New Jersey. Provide medical leadership for the Multiple Myeloma Cell Therapy Franchise, including FDA approved and pipeline products. Serve as a myeloma CAR T expert in strategic and tactical discussions internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support strategic/tactical planning and execution of US Medical Affairs plans.
- Represent BMS US Medical Affairs as a therapeutic area expert across US and Global cross-functional teams, clinical sub-teams, and advisory boards/steering committees; support thought leader engagement at professional meetings, congresses, and local symposia.
- Provide clinical input and review for congress abstracts, posters, presentations, manuscripts, educational materials, Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) protocols, steering/advisory board materials, Medical Information response documents, and grant requests.
- Support Medical Affairs cross-functional working groups.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs field colleagues to define, guide, and execute therapeutic regional strategies and tactics using appropriate resources.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced degree in a health-related field (MD, PharmD, or PhD).
- Prior experience in Multiple Myeloma; strong knowledge of treatment landscape and/or Cellular Therapy preferred.
- Minimum 2 years industry experience with deep knowledge of the Medical Affairs function.
- Strong scientific acumen; proficiency in clinical data review/interpretation.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills; experience translating clinical/medical information into Medical Affairs strategies.
- Experience managing timeline-driven deliverables from inception to execution.
- Engagement with healthcare professionals (clinicians, pharmacists, nurses, etc.) plus.
- Regular travel required as needed.
