Key Responsibilities
- Lead Multimodal Discovery Technology Platforms
- Own lifecycle management, roadmap, and delivery for platforms supporting: omics/multi-omics, spatial omics, digital pathology, high-content imaging, flow cytometry, and medical imaging.
- Define technology roadmaps aligned with scientific priorities and business outcomes.
- Partner with Scientists to Enable RNAi Discovery and Delivery
- Collaborate with research and preclinical teams to understand evolving scientific needs.
- Translate scientific workflows into scalable solutions and implementation plans.
- Drive adoption to improve scientific productivity, data quality, and reproducibility.
- Solution Delivery, Architecture & Engineering Partnership
- Partner with architects to define solution architectures for multimodal discovery workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure scalable, secure, maintainable solutions.
- Review vendor architectures/designs/integration approaches against requirements and enterprise standards.
- Ensure integration with enterprise data, AI, infrastructure, security, and lab technology ecosystems.
- Enable Multimodal Data Workflows
- Design/deliver workflows for acquisition, processing, analysis, and visualization.
- Ensure data is accessible, governed, and AI-ready.
- Drive Platform Integration & Automation
- Lead integrations across applications, lab platforms, data environments, analytics tools.
- Define API-first integration patterns; automate workflows.
- Support AI-Enabled Scientific Workflows
- Enable AI/ML use cases; leverage generative/agentic AI and advanced computational methods.
- Operational Excellence & Governance
- Establish governance (demand intake, prioritization, release, lifecycle).
- Define support models, service levels, and performance metrics; monitor utilization and outcomes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years supporting scientific informatics/discovery tech/computational biology or imaging informatics in biotech/pharma.
- Experience delivering solutions in one or more domains: omics, spatial omics, digital pathology, high-content imaging, flow cytometry, medical imaging.
- Strong software architecture, cloud-native, API-first integration, and scientific data ecosystem knowledge.
- Ability to translate scientific workflows into technology requirements; lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Working knowledge of SDLC, testing, CI/CD, and platform observability.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree.
- Experience with platforms (e.g., HALO/HALO Link, Visiopharm, Patholytix, Signals Image Artist, FlowJo, OMERO, DNAnexus, Paradigm4, AWS HealthOmics, Lifebit).
- Python, SQL, Snowflake, Databricks.
- Experience with cloud-native large-scale scientific data platforms; ML/image analytics.
- Familiarity with RNAi/oligonucleotide therapeutics and advanced modality research.
