Associate Director, Metadata and Semantics Lead

Role: Associate Director, Metadata Lead at Novartis, responsible for defining and advancing enterprise metadata standards and frameworks to optimize data trustworthiness and reusability. Responsibilities: lead metadata capture, validation, lifecycle management, and automation; establish requirements for AI-ready datasets and certified data products; ensure accurate documentation of ownership, lineage, and quality; collaborate with data governance and modeling teams to improve transparency and discoverability; drive metadata issue resolution and stakeholder communication; promote data catalog adoption.
